1/500 Bandai Space Battleship Yamato_02

Now to get to work on the main gun armament on the Yamato. I stuck on and filled where the turret range finders used to be, then painted these, and the barrels. The barrels needed a light sanding to get rid of some seam lines.

The barrels fitted nicely into the mounting, then carefully glued the lower turret parts in place making sure they had not been stuck in position.

The 2 smaller turrets were made the same way.
