PG Banshee Norn-06
Apologies for the delay but had things to do past few weekends, but now here’s more work on the Banshee done.
About 70% of the inner workings of the Banshsee Norn legs will not be seen but I still painted it all. I do have the PG RX-0 Unicorn in my stash so during the build I will note what parts do not need painting or need to be removed to aid joint movement. As the Banshee will be in transformed mode I made sure that some parts were set in that position to start with.
The hip joint had been painted in advance before fitting together then pushed into position onto the part completed upper leg section now the inner sections had been covered. For my ease as the kit will not be changed back to “normal” mode the upper and lower psycho-frame parts were set and some outer armour installed.
The knee joint armour is a complex piece of plastic engineering that allows it to both extend and bend. The one on the left is in it’s retracted state, and the one on the right shows the inner workings when fully extended. Take care when pushing the parts together not to use too much force when popping the pins in and take some time to do some trial fitting to see how it goes together.
The top picture is a side on view of the knee joint when fully extended so you can see what parts of the inner joint will be seen if you paint it, and the lower picture is how all this articulation is stored when retracted.
Finished off the rest of the painted leg armour pieces including the lower side units I did way back in March in part five.
