RE/100 MSN-04 “Custom Colour” Nightingale – 08
To be honest not that much to do now on the RE/100 Nightingale. One final large piece is the shield, so I had to take care when painting it as will be in full view when finished.
Well here are all the pieces of this large size kit that just need to be put together. I will take care with the hands, shield and top section so as not to damage the paintwork.
Well here it is, I really have enjoyed changing this from the standard red model to this white/blue version. I had seen something similar on the net and liked the colour scheme, so decided to go with this. The biggest issue was to change the red pieces to white, Even with 3 light coats of primer and one coat of white acrylic primer it still had a slight pink hue.
Took 2 more primer coats to remove all of this shading. The kit is massive with not much of a inner frame to speak of, so detailing some of moulded parts has produced some good effects on the kit.
