RE/100 MSN-04 “Custom Colour” Nightingale – 03
Using AK Xtreme metals did give me great results on the Nightingale lower leg thrusters. These provide a nice finish as yet not confident in using full lacquer based paints.
For the engine verniers I tried to get a metal effect on the insides as well but make them red. I think I got the desired effect my using a combination of K Color Ruby Red and then two light coats of Red Quantum on a red primer base.
To me these work with the white main colour I am now using instead of the unpainted stock red, grey and yellow.
