RE/100 MSN-04 “Custom Colour” Nightingale – 05

With this being an RE style kit like with the “Mega” type kits a lot of the kit is just one single moulding instead of a lot of small parts, which for someone that paints all their Gundam kits adds extra challenges. Luckily I like this kind of challenge, so for the waist section that will not get see that much I added some paint details with some light shading of the pipes and for the where the legs join a kind of “oil seal” effect to bring out that area.

Now comes one of the largest sections on the Nightingale the rear. I used the same method as on the red leg parts to get the pure white to come out how I wanted. If you are doing the same then just persevere with it as even before the last coat there was still a slight pink tinge that still had not gone.

The rear thruster verniers were airbrushed in the same metal and red colours and the surrounds in the metallic blue to carry on the colour scheme. engine ver
